The Ashford Bureau team combines deep Romanian market knowledge with EU-level credentials and a fiduciary commitment that never wavers.
Meet the team
A Small Team With a Long Track Record
Ashford Bureau was built deliberately small. We believe that genuine capital protection advisory cannot be industrialised — it requires sustained attention, continuity of relationship, and advisors who are personally accountable for the recommendations they make. Our core team of six advisors and analysts has an average tenure at the firm of over seven years. Most of our clients came through referrals from existing clients, which is the only measure of trust that cannot be manufactured. We do not chase assets under management rankings or product sales targets. Every advisor at Ashford Bureau is evaluated on one criterion: did the client's long-term financial position improve as a result of working with us?

Experience Across the Full Capital Protection Spectrum
Our team brings complementary expertise to every client engagement.
Senior Wealth Advisors
Our two senior advisors each hold CFA or equivalent EU-recognised qualifications and have over fifteen years of experience advising Romanian and pan-European clients on long-term wealth structures. They lead every new client diagnostic and sign off on all formal strategy notes.
Tax & Structuring Analysts
Two analysts specialise in the intersection of Romanian fiscal law and EU-level structuring options. They conduct the technical modelling that underpins each strategy recommendation, ensuring that every structure is efficient, compliant, and stress-tested under multiple regulatory scenarios.
Client Relations & Compliance
A dedicated client relations and compliance officer manages ongoing client communication, annual review coordination, and regulatory reporting. This role ensures that no obligation — to clients or to regulators — falls through the cracks, and that every client always has a named point of contact.
“What distinguishes Ashford Bureau is that I have spoken to the same advisor at every meeting for five years. She knows my family's situation, she remembers what we discussed in 2019, and she brings that continuity to every recommendation. In a sector full of revolving-door salespeople, that kind of consistency is genuinely rare and genuinely valuable.”

Professional Standards We Hold Ourselves To
All advisors at Ashford Bureau are required to maintain active professional development in EU financial regulation, succession law changes, and risk management methodology. We adhere to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics as a voluntary professional standard, even for team members who do not hold the charter. Our compliance framework is reviewed annually by an external auditor, and our professional indemnity cover exceeds the regulatory minimum. We publish a client-facing conflict-of-interest disclosure annually, and we invite clients to raise concerns directly with our compliance officer at any time. These are not box-ticking exercises — they are the commitments that allow us to work with complete transparency in an industry where opacity remains common.
